Call for Special Session - Applying AI to Build Security Solutions for Protecting Information Systems

Special Session:  Applying AI to Build Security Solutions for Protecting Information Systems

Aims and Scope

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has brought numerous benefits to various domains, including multimedia analysis and pattern recognition. However, it has also raised concerns about security and privacy issues. This special session aims to explore the intersection of security and AI, with a specific focus on applying AI techniques to build innovative security solutions for protecting information systems. The session will provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to present and discuss their latest advancements, share insights, and foster collaborations in this exciting and critical area.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Adversarial attacks and defenses in AI-based security systems
  • AI-based intrusion detection and prevention systems
  • Applying machine learning and deep learning for anomaly detection in information systems
  • AI-enabled threat intelligence and threat hunting
  • Intelligent authentication and access control mechanisms using AI
  • AI-driven security analytics and situational awareness
  • Secure data mining and knowledge discovery using AI techniques
  • AI-driven security assessment and vulnerability management
  • Natural language processing and AI for security-related text analysis
  • Case studies and real-world applications of AI-based security solutions

Accepted papers from the special session will be published in the conference proceedings and indexed in relevant databases.

Submission Guidelines

Prospective authors are invited to submit original, high-quality papers relevant to the application of AI in building security solutions for protecting information systems. Papers must conform to the instructions for double-blind review, and should not exceed a maximum length of 6 pages.
